How do I book a session?

You can either go to www.thestudiostandish.co.uk or go to the App Store on your phone and download the MINDBODY App, register, search for The Studio Standish, and then select and pay for your chosen class.  The Studio Standish App will be available to download soon.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 2 hrs prior to your class commencing.  Pre-paid classes are non-refundable, however cancellations made before the 2 hr cancellations policy will see any payment fall into your online account, which can then be used for a future class booking.

How do I pay for my class?

Payment for any classes will be taken online or via the App as part of your online class booking.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, all classes need to booked in advance using the website or via the website to the App and can be booked up to 28 days in advance.

Is there somewhere I can store my personal items?

Yes, we have a changing/waiting room where you can leave your belongings.  Any valuables can be stored in our pigeon holes which are clearly visible whilst participating in a class.  Please note: Valuables are left at the owners own risk, and The Studio Standish takes no responsibility for theft or damage whilst using the facilities.

Do you have showers?

There are no shower facilities available at The Studio.

What do I need to bring to my class?

Just yourself and ideally a sweat towel and water bottle, which can be filled using our filtered chilled water fountain.

What should I wear to my class?

Trainers are an absolute must, along with sports clothing suitable for the type of class you are participating in.

If I have been unwell am I still ok to attend?

We strongly advise you not to participate in any classes if you have recently been or are currently feeling unwell.  If during a class you feel unwell, you should stop immediately and inform your instructor.

If I have a previous medical condition, am I still ok to participate in classes?

When signing up to our classes, you will be asked to read and sign a Health Commitment Statement, telling us that you are not suffering from any medical conditions or illness   If you’re concerned that you have or have had a medical condition which may result in you exercising beyond your abilities or interfere with your exercising safety, you should get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow that advice before taking part in any of our classes.

Is parking available?

Yes we have plentiful parking at the front of the building on a first come first serve basis.  Please note we do share the car park with a number of other businesses, so please be respectful of others.  Cars and valuables are left at the owners own risk, and The Studio takes no responsibility for theft or damage whilst using the facilities.

Is there a minimum age requirement to attend a class?

Our Studio Kids and Family Bootcamp classes are all 3yrs +.
Sweat’teen’ 11yrs+
All other classes are 16yrs+

How many children can an adult bring along to a kids class?

All children aged 10 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.  There must be at least one parent or guardian in attendance for every 2 children between the ages of 3 – 12yrs.
